Walmart Couponing $5.96 For All of This!

120ct. One A Day Multi Vitamins for Men
8pk. Dial bar soap
2 Colgate Toothpastes
2 Clean & Clear face washes
8 Kashi Go Lean bars
5 Aquafresh toothpastes (travel size)
12pk. Schick disposable razors

Total.....$5.56

How:

Walmart is officially my favorite place to shop! They accept price matches without any hassle and they also accept overages (overages are coupons that are worth more than the value of the product; the result.....your coupons will pay for the rest of your purchase).

There is a website called recyclebank.com and if you sign up, you can start doing some earth friendly quizzes which will earn you points and those points are good for products they offer. My choice was the $2 off any Kashi product.

Tips:

Eat a good meal before going on your shopping trip or have a snack. The last thing you want to do is be hungry or tired when shopping (I think we've all experienced grocery shopping on an empty stomach-"my everything looks so yummy!") Couponing is not easy! Ask anyone who does it and they will tell you it is very time consuming and requires patience. They will also tell you how satisfying it is when you go to the register and realize that your coupons have paid for your purchase!

For the most bang for your coupon, I recommend matching the coupon to a current sale (i.e. if CVS has cereal BOGO and Walmart does not, Walmart will price match that and if you have a coupon to go along with that, its even better. You want to have maximum savings and minimum out of pocket payment.

It takes a while to find your rhythm with couponing. My first experience was very disappointing. The benefit: makes you work harder because your able to find what you need and how you should go about doing it.

I must warn you, when you have your first super savings shopping trip you will feel like you just robbed a bank! Its addicting being able to have coupons pay for the things you need. And even if you only save $5, its still $5.

To whomever is reading this I hope it gives you the motivation to start couponing and I truly wish you the best!

Good Luck!
